Minute of English club inauguration
On 15.06.23 the inauguration of our English club “Speakizy” was conducted in the conference hall. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Shibu K C, Director Rex Academy, who inaugurated the function. Following the inauguration an orientation on IELTS was given by Mr. Shibu K C and an orientation to OET was given by Sebastian Reynold, Guest speaker. Another guest speaker of the day Ms. Parvati Natarajan, News Reader, Rogers T V London introduced the students regarding the need for learning English in an international perspective. After this session felicitations were given by Mrs. Anita Sekhar, HOD English Department of KVM Trust Mrs. Surya C S, Vice-Principal and Mrs. Bhavya S, English Club co-ordinator and the official session ended up with vote of thanks which was delivered by Mrs. Soumya C S, English Club Assistant co-ordinator. Thereafter, an English quiz was conducted for students and winners were 2nd semester BSc Nursing students. The programme was well organized and future programmes were welcomed by the students whole heartedly
