NURSING FOUNDATION
The Fundamentals offer courses at entry to equip students with knowledge, attitude and skills to work in various practice areas and to develop as professional nurses with firm commitment to lifelong service and learning.The Department of Nursing Foundation is considered as one of the basic and most important part of every college of Nursing. The spirit of Nursing is sown in the young hearts by the Nursing Foundation department.The faculty is convinced that nursing is the art, science and discipline of caring for people through the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health and wholeness across the life span. The essence of nursing involves communication, critical thinking decision making and problem solving, collaboration, caring, education, advocacy, ethical behavior and a commitment to life-long learning. We the faculty contribute collaboratively and independently to quality patient care and education.The faculties in our departments also deliver classes for Microbiology, Psychology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology.
