CHILD HEALTH NURSING AND NURSING EDUCATION
Caring for children is the most satisfying aspect of clinical. A competent nurse effectively and lovingly provides relief from pain and suffering. The aim of the department is to train the students to develop the concept of Children’s growth and development and difference in care from that of adults. To prepare the students to develop the skills in caring for children from fetal life to adult life. The department has qualified, experienced and committed faculty. Anthropometric measurements and physical assessment, bathing and Vitamin K administration of the newborn are also taught as core skills in the care of the newborn.
The department is actively  involved in providing excellent service in nursing education.The faculty prepares students to be an effective teacher in future.
